Last Tuesday it happened once again, as the local Quota club staged its biennial baby show.

The much anticipated event brought together Gloucester’s youngest residents, along with their parents and grandparents.

The unenviable task of judging the show was left to visiting Quota club members who were heard to murmur in the background that judging was a decidedly difficult task as they were of the firm belief that all babies are beautiful.

But, that said, there had to be winners on the day and the title of Gloucester’s champion baby for 2009 was won by Andrew Fraser, the son of Wendy and Michael, with proud grandmother Myrelle accompanying Andrew to the winners podium for his prize.
