Dads head to pre-school

10 Sep, 2008 05:00 AM
It was with a lot of excitement and anticipation that the Pre-school children brought their dads to visit their Pre-School on Monday Night. The children were so looking forward to showing their dads all the things they love to do at Pre-School. They had been cooking all week so they could serve their guest yummy things to eat like Anzacs and Chocolate crackles.

The children were not disappointed. They worked with their dads digging in the sandpit, shaping things with play dough, listening to books, working at the computer and lots of other activities. There was a lot of noise and laughter from the children and the dads got to have a good catch up too.

Everyone enjoyed their tea of hot dogs, biscuits and an ice cream to eat on the way home.

The dads watched us dance to the song Freeze. Then everyone joined in when we moved to “Do the Dragon”. It was a lot of fun.

We’d like to thank all the dads and significant males who came to visit and also the mums who helped prepare tea. We can’t wait for our next fun night at Pre-School!
