Familar face takes on a new role

08 Feb, 2012 03:00 AM
A familiar face to families in Gloucester, Feona Ray has taken on a new role as Family Worker with Manning Support Services.

For the past 14 years Feona has been a staff member at Gloucester Pre-school and has held a number of positions, including co-ordinating the mobile playgroup services run by the pre-school.

Feona said her new role would focus on raising the profile of Manning Support and delivering a number of new services. These include parenting programs, behaviour management and working with families to cope with the stresses of everyday life. Feona is looking forward to working with other local services such as Community Health, the schools, pre-school and agencies to achieve this.

Feona is based in the Manning Support Services office in the Majestic Arcade, and is at the office on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

There will be a meet and greet day planned in the near future so services can meet with Feona and Manning Support can introduce a number of other services now available for Gloucester residents.
