Heather parties again

29 Jul, 2009 05:00 AM
Centenarian Heather Bastian celebrated her 100th birthday for the second time last week, this time joined by family for afternoon tea.

Heather, a resident of Narraweema ward at Gloucester Soldiers Memorial Hospital turned 100 on Thursday July 23 and spent the afternoon catching up with family who had travelled from Sydney, Toowoomba and Gumble to be at the party.

Earlier this month Heather had an early-birthday party when she was joined by Member for Paterson Bob Baldwin for morning tea.

Heather moved to Gloucester with her husband in the early 1980s to a property at Craven and moved into Narraweema around four-and-a-half years ago.
