Retired police officer Geoff Hall and senior constable Lachlan Gunn were honoured by their peers last week with presentations recognising their service in the force.
Geoff, who has now retired after more than 30 years as a police officer was presented with a certificate of service to recognise his dedicated service.
Presenting the award, Acting Inspector Stephen Reay, on behalf of Assistant Commissioner Shearer.
During his 30 years of service Geoff was posted to stations in Sydney, Walgett, Forster and finally Gloucester.
He reached the rank of Senior Constable and has previously been awarded a National Medal and clasp, a NSW Police Medal and two clasps and a number of citations for bravery.
Senior Constable Lachlan Gunn was presented with a National Medal recognising 15 years of diligent and ethical serivce.
The National Medal is award to police and other emergency service personnel.
The service at Gloucester Court House was attended by local and visiting police officers, local ambulance officers and local SES commander Bruce Sun.
