Sustainability expo in April

10 Feb, 2010 03:00 AM
Gloucester Shire Council will host a Sustainability Expo on Saturday April 10 at Billabong Park between 8.30am and 12.30pm. The Expo is proudly sponsored by Country Energy.

The Expo will be held in conjunction with the Gloucester Farmers Market, and provide residents with easy access to products and information that commonly requires travel to obtain this information.

The event will showcase alternative energy sources, water saving technology, promote environmental protection, recycling and waste management.

To make this event successful Council is asking local businesses and community organisations interested in showcasing their products and services at the Expo to contact Council’s Sustainability Officer, Mrs Libby Guest on 6538 5250 for further details and a registration form.

All registrations need to be received by Monday March 1.
