On Sunday October 25 the Gloucester Bowling and Recreation Club Limited held its Annual General Meeting and election of Office Bearers for the 2009-10 year. There was no voting necessary as each position had only one nominee. The Board of Directors for the coming year are: Len Peters, Chairperson: Ruth Westbury, Deputy Chairperson: Phil Nancarrow, Treasurer: and Directors Ellen Murray, Margaret Andrews, Peter Munro, Rob Bowden and Harry Cox. Andy Parker remains as Secretary/Manager.

The new Board has already held its first meeting and when questioned after the Chair said “it is early days yet but the Board appears to be cohesive and should be able to continue the good work of Jim Henderson and his team. This Board is a mix of experienced and new Directors and is enthusiastic and receptive to new ideas. We all wish them every success and look forward a bigger and better Club in the future.
