Six national titles for local riders

The Australian Stock Horse Society has just announced the National champions for 2008. Two local riders have been very successful in the 2008 National Youth point score awards.

Madalyn Watchirs and her two horses, Watchirs Star and Glendonald Challenge and Wyatt Young with Cedervale Noire and Cedervale Moonlight have between them achieved six national titles and seven runner up awards.

Both Madalyn and Wyatt have represented their families Australian Stock Horse studs proudly. These two studs breed the majority of the horses that they ride.

Madalyn’s results are as follows:

Under 21 years Title Winner for Campdrafting, Working and Polocrosse.

Title Runner Up for Hack, Led and Riding

Wyatt’s results are as follows:

Under 13 years Title Winner for Hack, Working and Riding

Title Runner Up for Campdrafting , Dressage and Sporting Handler
