St Joseph’s athletes hit the track

24 Jun, 2009 05:00 AM
The rain stayed away long enough for St Joseph’s Primary School to stage their athletics carnival last Wednesday.

Lorikeets took the team trophy, but by the barest of margins, just five poins separated the team from their nearest rivals, Rosellas.

Sub-junior champions were Jack Wamsley and Jessica Relf, runners up William Bowden and Emily Dulihanty.

In the juniors Harry Ryan and Emma Malcolm-Coe took the championship trophies, the runners up Thomas Relf and the girls runners up title was a tie between Kylie Neilson and Mackenzie Ryan.

The 11-years champion trophy was won by Ben Relf and runner up Jesse Lloyd.

The senior boys trophy went to Adrian Jacobs, the senior girls trophy to Ellen Forbes, the runner up Holly Bowden.
