Swimming carnival Saturday

10 Feb, 2010 03:00 AM

A few hundred swimmers will be descending upon Gloucester this Saturday for Swimming Club’s annual Gloucester Picnic Carnival.

Numbers this year are very strong, and local swimmers will be taking on competition from Clarence Town, Dungog, Laurieton, Port Macquarie, Raymond Terrace, Taree and Wingham Clubs.

The Gloucester carnival is renowned for its friendliness and good organisation, and Gloucester Thunderbolts Swimming Club is looking forward to another successful day.
