GLOUCESTER residents will soon be asked to complete a 16-question survey on the operations of the local Olympic and hydrotherapy pools.
As part of its review of assets, council is looking at various cost saving strategies for the pool, including solar power and a review of operating hours.
Questions in the survey range from how often the pools are used by members of the public, to the services provided.
Two questions specifically refer to a reduction in opening hours of the pools; the first asking what affect closing the pool complex between 12pm and 2pm each day would impact patronage and the second suggesting that the complex could be closed altogether of a Sunday.
Councillors will decide whether to endorse the survey at the monthly meeting today.
