TWO people charged over the attack - and subsequent death - of a 72-year-old Gloucester man have had their matters mentioned in Taree Local Court.

Jason Mark Grogan, 41, was charged with murder after elderly Gloucester resident Alan Henry’s death from injuries suffered in a vicious assault at his home.
Natasha Slack, 34, was charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder. She is currently on bail. Grogan remains in custody charged with murder. His solicitor Michael Jones did not apply for bail and bail was refused.
Mr Henry, 72, was found lying in a pool of blood in his kitchen on January 10. He had suffered serious head injuries.
He was airlifted to Westmead Hospital where he died from his injuries on April 19. Police arrested Grogan and Slack in January.
Grogan was charged with maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm and Slack with being an accessory after the fact to causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Following Mr Henry’s death the charges were upgraded. Slack and Grogan are due to reappear in Taree Local Court on August 7.
