A TEENAGER was trampled by a bull while competing at the Stroud Rodeo on Friday night.
Timothy Partridge, 16, of Walcha, was flown to the John Hunter Hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter after he falling from the bull he was riding.
A spokesman for the helicopter service said the boy had been trampled after the fall.
He had suffered chest injuries but was in a stable condition upon arrival at the hospital.
His aunt Linda Smith, of Thornton, said he had been competing in rodeos for several years.
‘‘He loves his bullriding and bare-back riding,’’ she said.
‘‘After he was thrown off, he got up and started walking but he went downhill from there.’’
