PLAYERS had a chance to scoop a share of $3500 in prize money as part of the Gloucester Tennis Open on the October long weekend.
Dozens of players contested the three-day tournament with several local players taking part.
Organiser Ruth Johnson said the prize money for the tournament had increased by $1000 this year, with the major prize of $700 going to the winners of the men’s and women’s singles competition.
The tournament featured a social competition for parents and children which was played in a round robin format.
More than 150 players from across the State turned out for the event.
