GLOUCESTER resident Ivy Blanch celebrated her 102nd birthday at Kimbarra Lodge with family and friends on October 13.
Ivy was a picture of good health for the occasion and all present enjoyed a wonderful cake baked by Fay Harris.
Ivy was born in 1911 at Walcha but has lived in Gloucester all her life.
She married Clarence Blanch and the couple had eight children.
Ivy has 25 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren and 63 great, great grandchildren.
Ivy lived on her own until age 98 when she moved to Kimbarra.
She still likes to knit and puts her longevity down to “hard work”.
