MEMBERS of Harleys for Humanity (H4H) visited local public schools last week in the lead up to this weekend’s event which will be held in Gloucester for the first time.
President Dave Golledge and fellow H4H member Grahame Jones visited Gloucester, Barrington and Stratford public schools as well as St Joseph’s Primary.
The duo brought along a limited edition Harley Davidson produced for the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney.
It was one of only 102 similar bikes made by the motorcycle manufacturer and was purchased by Grahame shortly after the Games concluded.
Students were allowed to look at the bikes with a lucky few given the opportunity to climb up and experience what it’s like to sit on a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
