Cr Rosenbaum said the global broker had contacted him personally to request his participation on the panel, along with NSW Farmers president Fiona Simpson, AGL’s head of Upstream Gas Mike Moraza and Land and Water Commissioner Jock Laurie.
“My role will be to explain the effects on the Gloucester community from CSG,” Cr Rosenbaum said.
“I’m looking forward to it. I don’t have credibility on the technical issues, but I think I do have credibility on the way it affects people.”
Cr Rosenbaum said he had been asked to attend participate as a resident of Gloucester, not as mayor and was also hopeful of speaking to investors on his take on the CSG industry.
