Karra will represent Gloucester at the zone showgirl titles in Taree in February after beating two others to win the coveted local title in November.
Studying nursing and now living near Coffs Harbour, it is the second time Karra has served as showgirl, also winning the title in 2009.
The first female fire captain of the Gloucester RFS (Rural Fire Service) brigade, Karra was one of a team of three local fire fighters to finish second in the Young Farmers Challenge at the Royal Easter Show earlier this year.
The Gloucester Showgirl judging was open to young women aged between 18 and 25 and took place at Tugwood Winery on November 9.
The three candidates, Karra Daley, Holly Borham and Chloe Walker, were put through a rigorous interview process by judges Toni Corbett, Helen Tugwood and Bruce Moy before delivering an impromptu speech.
The zone finals will be held in Taree on February 8 and supporters are welcome to attend.
The 2014 Gloucester show will be the 100th held in the district. Nominations for the 2014 junior showgirl will be taken early in the New Year.
