Senior Constable Scott Chester said he was pleased with the behaviour of both locals and visitors during the busy tourist period.
“We experienced a great period. The community was very well behaved. We maintained high visibility patrols throughout the community, targeting known hot spots and alcohol free zones and performed mobile and stationary RBTs (random breath tests),” he said.
“All venues that had activities and entertainment were our primary focus.
“There were no major incidents, no charges and no fines issued. I would like to praise the attitude of locals and visitors.”
