The annual photography competition is keenly contested among the region’s photographers with some stunning shots on display.
Organiser Chris Steele said the calibre of this year’s work was as good as ever, though entries were slightly down.
“For the first time this year the entry forms were submitted online so whether that had an effect or not I’m not sure,” Mr Steele said.
He said all categories had been supported.
Photographer Ric Woods from Ric Woods Photography will judge the entries for this year’s competition.
Mr Woods last judged the competition in 2012.
The official exhibition opening and awarding of prizes will be held at the Gloucester Gallery from 7pm on Friday, June 20.
