Students wore football jerseys and held sausage sizzles and novelty events to raise money for the appeal in aid of the promising young rugby league player who remains in a Sydney hospital with severe spinal injuries.
Local businesses also got in the act, donning jerseys and collecting donations for the appeal.
Schools and businesses in Forster-Tuncurry, Taree and Port Macquarie also supported the mufti day.
St Joseph's Primary will hold a mufti day tomorrow in aid of the appeal.
