THE Department of Primary Industries acting deputy director general for water Michael Bullen has announced available water determinations for local water users for the new 2014-15 water year, which commenced yesterday.

All access licence holders on the Avon, lower and upper Barrington, Bowman, lower and upper Gloucester, Cooplacurripa, lower and upper Barnard, lower and upper Manning, Nowendoc, Rowleys, Myall, Coolongolook and Wallamba rivers will receive an allocation of 100 per cent or one megalitre per unit share of their entitlement.
Water access licence holders, who draw water from Dingo and Myall Creeks, together with the Manning estuary tributaries, will also receive an allocation of 100 per cent or one megalitre per unit share of their entitlement.
Licence holders who access water from sources not covered by a water sharing plan are allocated full entitlement unless otherwise advised.
