There were heavy deposits of powder from the Dingo Gates in the west to Honeysuckle Picnic Spot on the eastern side of the range.
Icy conditions made travel across the Tops hazardous with reports of several accidents but the road remained open to motorists all weekend.

About one to two inches of snow fell across the Tops on Thursday night from Cobark Park to west of Polblue.
Widespread falls also saw a substantial covering of powder as far down as Nowendoc.
A strong upper level cold pool crossed inland NSW on Thursday evening dumping snow to as low as 600m.
Travellers to the Tops are advised to use extreme caution in the slippery conditions. 4WD access only is recommended.
- NOTE: An earlier version of this story said the Barrington Tops road had been closed by the National Parks and Wildlife Service at Honeysuckle Picnic Spot due to icy conditions. This information was incorrect.
