Skydiving
Take in the sights of the Gloucester and Barrington valleys as your plummeting towards earth from an aeroplane with the crew from Maitland Skydive.
Maitland Skydive will be at Gloucester Aero Club on Saturday and Sunday offering tandem skydives for those adventurous enough to take the plunge.
Opera in the Church
Tonight is the opening night of Opera in the Church.
Now in its 11th year, Opera in the Church continues to attract some of the country's most talented young singers to perform under veteran accompanist and vocal coach Sharolyn Kimmorley.
Tickets are $35 and are available at Webbe Real Estate or Gloucester Health Foods.
Both Friday and Saturday night performances start at 7.20pm at the Uniting Church.
Junior Netball Grand Finals
The grand finals of the Gloucester Netball junior and intermediate competitions will take place on Saturday morning at the town courts.
Matches get underway early with the presentation ceremony to take place around midday.
The ceremony will also see the inaugural presentation of the Tamika Preston Memorial Trophy.
Sidini's Sophisticated Sorcery Show
Magician Sidini is performing one show only at the Gloucester Country Club on Saturday night (August 23) from 8pm.
Brought to you by GACCI, Sidini is one of Australia's most accomplished magicians with more than 60 years experience.
Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets are still available at Gloucester Health Foods.
Barrington Markets
Barrington Markets will be held this Saturday (August 23) at the town hall.
Stallholders will be selling homemade jewellery, candles, cards, bric-a-brac, DVDs, books, plants, cakes and lots more.
The Barrington RFS will be selling sausage and bacon and egg sandwiches as well as cold drinks.
Get along to Barrington hall from 9am to 2pm and grab yourself a bargain.
