We live in a democracy with everyone entitled to an opinion and a right to peaceful protest.

I am happy to live in a country with such freedom to express our opinions.

There are many people with legitimate concerns about the resource extraction industries.

Differences of opinion should not become platforms for personal attacks. 

Let us stick to the facts and try to keep the emotions out of it.

I define a local as someone who has chosen this beautiful place and extraordinary community as their home. 

I do not think length of residence is relevant.
