As in previous years the charity rodeo promises to be an outstanding event.
It is now acknowledged as one of the premier events on the rough riding tour, ranking in the top 10 in the country.
Competitors and spectators have rated the arena as the best on the eastern seaboard and it is recognition of this fact that has attracted Duralie Coal as the event’s major sponsor.
Events include bull riding, bronc riding, bulldogging and barrel racing.
A full campdraft program is held in conjunction with the rodeo.
A ‘maximum points’ venue on the national circuit, the rodeo puts forward prize money of more than $30,000.
The event enables donations to various charities which have exceeded $350,000 since its inception - cancer research being the main beneficiary.
The rodeo is held in an international standard venue providing all weather seating for spectators.
The campdraft commences at 6.30am this Friday and the junior rodeo will start at 3pm.
Campdraft action will continue on Saturday morning from 7am with the rough riding to start at 9am and continue into the night.
Following the rodeo, the Viper Creek band will entertain the crowd supported by Kaylens Rain.
