Bit he did confirm that it was not him at the wheel but his business partner when the Lamborghini drove over the crest of a hill and ploughed into a Honda four-wheel-drive that was turning across the road to enter its driveway at Edensor Park, in Sydney's west, on Saturday night.
The Honda rolled and came to rest further down Kalang Road. Paramedics treated the driver of the Honda for minor injuries.
The Lamborghini could not be helped. It was a write-off.
But yes, the owner said, his insurance would cover the other driver, although he would have to pay a bigger excess.
Police are investigating whether speed was a factor in the crash. No charges have been laid.
