The pool will operate from 11am to 3pm on both Saturday and Sunday and will be operating from 6am to 6pm from Monday to Friday.
Patrons will notice a few improvements since the conclusion of last season.
Solar panels have been installed to provide heating for the waders’ pool (previously unheated) and a new shade cloth has been installed over the play area.
A giant umbrella will provide shade for lifeguards and patrons while the kiosk has been upgraded and will now be operated by council staff.
There are plans to sell swimwear and other related items from the kiosk. WiFi will also be available for pool patrons.
More than 200 students are currently signed up for Learn to Swim lessons with five staff working Monday to Saturday.
Swimming Club will hold its first meet for the year on October 9.
A family season pass for the Olympic Pool is $400, a three-month pass is $220 while cost of entry for a day is $4 for adults and $3 for seniors and children under 16.
