Now in its seventh year, the event continues to attract upwards of 30 light aircraft each year with Gloucester
residents enjoying the various makes and models of small planes on display.
Organisers have said that, unlike previous years, there will be no shows in 2014 just a low key lunch and a chat on Saturday with visitors and aviators.
“There’ll still be a good mix of aircraft,” club secretary Bob Francis said.
“From trikes with hand glider wings, auto gyros to standard fixed-wing aircraft and ultra-lights.
“We’ll also have a few modellers display their model aircraft.”
A bon-fire will take place on Saturday night and a cooked breakfast will be available on Sunday morning for anyone keen to stay overnight.
Gates open at 9am Saturday with a barbecue lunch available.
Funds raised from the event will be donated to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
Visitors are welcome.
