GLOUCESTER Pistol Club representatives Duncan (Bronco Billy) and Lilly (Lethal Lilly) Brown, Allan (Hipshot) and Gwen (Mrs Mac) MacClure and Norm (Fox) Smith competed in the Australian nationals in Western Action Shooting earlier this month.

The competition requires participants to shoot steel targets using revolvers, lever action rifles and shotguns. More than 200 shooters attended the nationals, held in Millmerran in Queensland.
All the local shooters performed well in their respective categories with Lilly second in the Buckerette division, Gwen second in the Grand Dame division and Allan third in the Cattle Baron category.
Duncan was ninth in the 49ers and Norm was sixth in the Senior Duellist category.
Lilly is the club’s newest junior and at 12 years old is a very confident young shooter.
She is a representative of the NSW team.
