Dan Lanzini this morning posted an image of himself locked to fracking machinery on the Facebook page Csg-Rescue Nsw.
Officers from Manning-Great Lakes Local Area Command attended the site about 6.30am and spoke with Mr Lanzini.
He allegedly refused to unlock himself and the Police Rescue Unit was called to attend.
At about 11am, the 34-year-old was removed from the truck before being arrested and taken to Gloucester Police Station.
The Noraville man was charged with remaining on enclosed land and hindering police and was granted bail to appear at Taree Local Court on November 11.
Police Rescue also cut free Gloucester resident Marnie Johnson after she locked on to the gate accessing the AGL site.
Mrs Johnson told the Advocate she was charged and issued with a court attendance notice for obstruction.
At least 11 people, including Mrs Johnson and Mr Lanzini, have now been charged with offences relating to the protest on Fairbairns Lane, which has entered its third day.
Earlier this morning a bus load of protesters left Gloucester to attend the AGL AGM in Sydney.
At the meeting, resident Brad Bowden asked AGL chief executive Michael Fraser what the risk to the company's shareholders was by pushing ahead with fracking at Gloucester despite a recommendation from the NSW chief scientist that the costs of assessing and regulating the coal seam gas industry be put back on the company.
Mr Bowden said Mr Fraser had made comments in his response that suggested the company had not made a final commitment to the Gloucester Gas Project and was still in a consultation phase.
He said shareholders he had spoken to at the AGM were also apprehensive about coal seam gas and AGL's involvement in the industry.
Kate Fry locked on to the gate entering the AGL site at 6am yesterday morning.
She said the lock on had remained unbroken until 10.10am this morning (Thursday) when Mrs Johnson was cut free.
Ms Fry was also charged by police and will face court in December.
