The festivities will begin at the school at 10am with an official ceremony at 11am.
Mayor John Rosenbaum and the Director of Public Schools David Willard will both address the gathering before a presentation of school history by Kristina Robinson and the current Stratford Public captains.
An Aboriginal dance group will perform and Indira Baker will recite a poem before the unveiling of a commemorative gift by Dolly Fenning and Hayden Henley.
A roll call of past students, dating back to 1907 before the school was even built will follow.
The centenary cake will be cut by Charlie Perram and Krystal Penfold before a tree planting ceremony involving Jack Atkins and Brady Farley.
Memorabilia will be on display throughout the school and there will be merchandise available for purchase.
Other activities include face painting, a jumping castle and Dunk the Dill as well as a dance presentation.
The festivities will wrap up about 3pm.
Back to Stratford Dance
THE back to Stratford dance will be held at the Stratford community hall this Saturday, October 25 from 7.30pm.
Featuring a country revival dance band with supper included.
Lucky door and lucky spot prizes. The cost is $12 for adults or $26 for families.
Boomshanka Beats
BOOMSHANKA Beats will take place at Stroud Country Club this Saturday, October 25.
Gates open at 12pm with music from 3pm.
Keep the kids entertained with face painting and a jumping castle.
The cost is $20 per adult and $5 per child
Featuring performances from 'The Flood', 'The Stray Roots' and 'Ian Henry'.
National Garage Sale Trail
Tucker Patch
THE Tucker Patch is opening its gates as part of the National Garage Sale Trail on Saturday, October 25 and is encouraging local residents to participate by registering as a seller at the event.
Gloucester residents looking to offload some excess items are encouraged to bring along a car full of trash so it can become another person’s treasure.
The kinds of materials that are regularly reused and can be donated include polystyrene boxes, old poly pipe, fencing wire, dog wire or similar square tube off cuts, plastic sand pits and wading pools, plastic pots and corrugated iron in reasonable condition.
There will be demonstrations on site of how these materials can be used in food production processes.
Fresh, just picked vegetables will be for sale, as well as homemade preserves.

The Authentic Bo Jenkins
THE Roundabout Inn will get a taste of the American Deep South with a visit by legendary US guitarist Bo Jenkins this Saturday, October 25.
If you like your music authentic then Bo is not to be missed.
Jenkins’ music reflects the richness of a life playing on river boats and in the bars and clubs of the famous Mississippi Delta region which has bred music legends including Sonny Boy Williamson, Elvis Presley and Charlie Rich.
His shows benefit from years playing with the likes of BB King and Reba McEntire and his sets include everything from ‘Ghost-riders in the Sky’ and Creedence medleys to Hank and Hendrix and various originals.
Bo has just released his fourth studio album ’Bo Jenkins Roadtrain’.
For the aficionados, Jenkins is a left-handed upside down player, incorporating plenty of slide guitar in his work.
Family Lantern Walk
THE Downstream Knitting Nannas of the Mid North Coast are hosting a peaceful family lantern walk event at Gloucester this Saturday, October 27 from 5.30pm.
The walk will be followed by a picnic under stars.
Meet at the vigil site across from the golf course.

CWA Pink Breakfast
GLOUCESTER CWA evening branch will host a Pink Ribbon Breakfast to raise money for breast cancer on Monday, October 27.
The breakfast will be held at the CWA rooms from 7.30am to 10am.
The event includes a full continental breakfast for just $10 per head.
Proceeds from the breakfast will be donated to the Gloucester Breast Cancer Support Group.
