Gloucester Domestic & Family Violence Committee (GDFVC) along with Gloucester Rotary and Woolworths is hosting a free barbecue between noon and 2pm outside Woolworths to promote the day.
Free resources will be available for the community.
The GDFVC also will launch its latest initiative the “Wee Campaign” which are three different stickers educating the community on the statistics and impact of domestic and family violence.
Hotline numbers for support feature on the stickers.
The campaign aims to place sticker on the back of every public toilet door in Gloucester.
The GDFV committee meets bi-monthly on Gloucester court days.
