Barrington Community Christmas Market
The next Barrington Community Market to be held on Saturday, November 29, is the last for this year. It will focus on Christmas with lots of Christmas presents and goodies for sale. There is something for absolutely everyone with homemade sweet treats and cakes, DVDs from $1, lots of bric-a-brac and new goods, homemade jewellery, local honey, plants, jams and relishes, homemade crafts and much more.
And of course there will be the regular barbecue from the Barrington RFS so come along and have brekky there.
Another regular feature of the market is the morning teas with the freshest yummiest scones along with the cake and community produce stalls. Donations of cakes and yummies can be brought to the hall on the day of the market. Organisers do not charge a commission for the community produce stall, rather they welcome a donation if produce/goods sell.
And of course there is the raffle! This time it is a special Christmas raffle hamper full of bits and pieces which would make great Christmas presents!
It was agreed at the last general meeting that the Barrington Community Market will in future, commencing with this November Christmas market, to be held on the last Saturday of the month in February, May, August and November.
Wool for Wrap with Love as well as five cent coins can still be brought to the market.
