Gloucester Thunderbolts Swimming Club was represented by nine-year-old Emily Kearney who swam in nine events across the two days.
The level of competition was high with some fantastic swims across both days.
In the girls’ nine years 100m freestyle Emily placed third taking almost a second off her
personal best. In the girls’ nine years 50m freestyle Emily placed second taking nearly two seconds off her personal best.
This was a great effort among 30 of the fastest nine-year-old girls from across regional NSW.
Out of the nine events Emily swam, she achieved seven personal bests.
Emily is now looking forward to her home carnival hosted by the Gloucester Thunderbolts Swimming Club at the Gloucester Pool on February 14.
