A high school deputy principal has been charged with indecently assaulting a student, police say.

A 14-year-old girl said she was indecently assaulted by the man while at her private school in the state's south on April 24 and 25.
Detectives arrested a 50-year-old man on Wednesday.
The man, who is not currently teaching, was charged with two counts of aggravated indecent assault.
He was granted conditional bail to appear in Deniliquin Local Court on Tuesday.
