From 10am until 2pm on Saturday the station will open up to the public.
The open day lets residents get an inside look of the fire station and the crew who work so hard behind the scenes that run Gloucester 303.
Captain Mark Edwards said there will be activities for kids throughout the day.
“We will also run a powerpoint excercise at about noon about fire safety around the home,” he said.
“The day is usually pretty popular and its a chance for people to have a look behind the scenes.”
Capt Edwards said it was also a good opportunity for anyone interested in joining the team.
“We currently have 12 firefighters but we need another four,” he said.
“So anyone who is interested in joining the team can come in and have a look.”
