On Monday July 13 Gloucester Croquet held its Annual General Meeting. Prior to the election the outgoing president and vice president presented medals to the Club Champion for 2015 John Ikin and runner-up Al Minis. Doubles winners were Norma Slade and Carol Dwyer and runners-up Yvonne Fisher and Elaine Leech.

The new committee is as follows: president Brenda Pennicuik, vice president Al Minis, secretary Judy Hopkins and Treasurer Elaine Leech. Association captain is Paddy Stevens and golf captain is Bev Murray.
A soup and damper lunch was enjoyed, followed by an afternoon of golf croquet.
Coming events for our calendar are August 22 our Gala Day; August 29 a visit from Bayway Village, Fern Bay. Our next club competition for golf croquet is the Beaton Shield, a handicap singles event, scheduled for October 23 to 24.
On May 28 a barbecue was held in the park with the proceeds as well as the usual club fees for the day being donated to the Gloucester Prostate Support Group and presented by John Ikin and the Gloucester Breast Cancer Support Group presented by Carol Dwyer. $150 went to each group, both very deserving causes, helping local people with cancer.
