NSW Country Champion, Lleyton Richards, will be competing in the Under 14 Boys Singles and Doubles as well as the B-Grade Men’s Singles at the 2015 Gloucester Open AMT and Junior Tour Tournament which will be held over October’s long weekend. Elyse Standing, the latest in a line of strong local players, will be competing AMT Women’s Singles for the first time.

The Australian Money Tournament (AMT) and Junior Tour (JT) are sanctioned by Tennis Australia. AMT players compete for points and prize money in the AMT and points and prizes in the JT. Both the AMT Men’s and Women’s Singles have a strong, competitive draw.
More than 250 players have entered the popular tournament and it is attracting some of the State’s best players with entrants coming to Gloucester from all points on the compass. It is a boon for Gloucester as players’ families and friends join them and participate in local activities and enjoy the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants in the town.
