Over 90 people were in attendance at the Gloucester Magpies presentation night to end a successful season for the Maggies. President Matt Higgins welcomed everyone and thanked sponsors and supporters for the year, giving a brief outline of the success of the Maggies on and off the field. Coach Jack Ross thanks the supporters and his players for their effort during the year, finishing third overall in the competition. One game away from the big show was a huge achievement, considering the number of players we had available during the year. “Big Marn” Summerville gave an entertaining interpretation of the “brain strain” which proved to be hilarious.

The highlight of the night was the induction of an emotional Rodney Summerville into a select group for Life Membership of Gloucester Rugby League, recognising over 20 years of service to the Club and Rugby League in Gloucester.
The awards are as follows: Player of the Year - Brendon Pearce; Best Forward - Peter Everett and Craig Murray; Best Back – Hayden Tull; Players Player – Tom Middlebrook; Rookie of the Year – Ben Stokes; Coaches Award – Matt Yates; Club Person of the Year 2015 – David Collins; Bert Gallagher Medal Winner – Tom Cowan; Ten Year Service Award – Kate and Grant Wratten.
