Kerry Hartigan facilitates planning with individuals and families who are considering their eligibility for the scheme.
“People are finding that the more preparation put into planning for the NDIS, the more likely you are to receive the supports that you need,” she said.
The planning process aims to provide people with a clearer sense of the goals and aspirations that they want to work towards, and how different supports and services, personal networks and community activities can help them achieve these goals and aspirations in their transition towards the NDIS.
The workshop will be held from 9.30 am-12 pm on Tuesday December 1 at St Joseph’s Primary School hall in Denison St. Morning tea will be provided. The hall is wheelchair accessible. There will also be an opportunity to book free sessions with Kerry to explore and further develop individual plans.
Bookings are essential for the workshop through Kerry. If you are unable to attend the workshop but are interested in accessing the Support Planning program please contact Kerry on 0427 648 904 or email kerry@interweaveconsult.com
The program is available to anyone under the age of 65 with a disability. People do not need to be currently accessing funding or support services to participate. The Support Planning program is funded by the Department of Ageing Disability and Home Care and is available free of charge to participants.
