Favoured by perfect weather conditions the evening was enjoyed by more than several hundred audience members who joined together for the annual sing-a-long in the lead-up to Christmas.
“Kids were running around, it was a beautiful atmosphere,” the evening’s MC Ty Soupidis said.
“It is organised by the churches, but it’s really a very community orientated event.”
After a strong involvement by the Gloucester Singers in past years, the group had to unfortunately pull out of this year’s line-up at the last minute due to illness. Nonetheless Gloucester Public School choir, Gloucester District Baptist Church, Gloucester High School, “Gloucester Sings Europe”, Gloucester Christian Outreach Centre and the Gloucester Scripture Children led the crowd in song at Gloucester District Park, backed up by the band of eight local musicians.
