Matt Danton and Dion Allan from Comeatosed took 12 hours to prepare the meat in time for lunch service at The Kitchen.
“I wanted it to be served fresh,” said a tried Mr Allan after starting the smoking at 2am.
The team donated the cooked meat that was made into a brisket burger. It raised $340 to help Toot’s family cover the ongoing costs of her cancer treatment.
The Just Smokin’ barbeque competition starts Saturday May 14 at the Roundabout Inn.
