All money raised on Saturday went to financially support local girl Tullalah (Toot) Nixon as she battles leukaemia.
Toot and her mum Kate have been involved with the netball club for many years and the club wanted to show its support by holding a Crazy Hair and Sock day.
The netballers all looked glamorous with crazy hair styles and lots of colour.
The coloured hairspray stand was very popular that morning, with some adults taking part as well.
The netballers enjoyed their games with some music playing in the background.
Families were asked to bring along some cupcakes to sell on the day and the club was blown away with the support it received.
A big thanks to the girls who went off selling the cupcakes and raffle tickets at soccer and the rugby and manning the stand at netball.
The club organised a raffle with first prize a load of firewood, donated by Speldon Partnership and second prize a facial voucher donated by Devine Beauty and a cosmetic bag donated by Jenny Merchant.
Tickets were sold during the day at netball and then in the afternoon at the rugby league match.
The Gloucester community all supported the event and the club was able to raise more than $1600 to help with medical expenses for Toot.
The raffle was won by Adam Berry and second prize went to Anthony Hughes.
Thank you to everyone that contributed by baking cupcakes or donating money through buying cakes and raffle tickets.
Thank you to the Gloucester Magpies for supporting our fundraiser as well.
Results from the intermediate netball games were:
Lilac defeated Red 45 – 29. 3 points Jess Relf, 2 points Hayley Rush, 1 point Hayley Griffith.
Blue defeated Pink 42 – 26. 3 points Marnie Barkwill, 2 points Charlotte Maslen, 1 point Libby Harris.
The junior games were not scored as the courts were too wet in the morning to have a competitive game.
