Police are investigating following a fatal single vehicle crash at Gloucester.

Just before 1pm (Thursday June 23), emergency services were called to Bucketts Way, Gloucester, following reports a Toyota Ute had hit a power pole.
The driver, a 53-year-old man, was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics, but died at the scene.
Officers attached to Manning Great Lakes Local Area Command have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Traffic diversions are currently in place around Faulkland Road and Buckets Road. Motorists are urged to avoid the area.

MidCoast Council road construction crews have responded, along with Police, SES and RFS crews and the road will remain closed until forensic police attend the site. Council crews have closed the road at Cemetery Road and are advising motorists of the situation and where they can turn around safely.
Council said It is hoped that shortly after forensic police arrive, one lane will be opened under traffic control until their investigations are complete, the vehicle is removed and the area is made safe.
