More snow photos...here
“I left in the dark hoping to get up there before any snow had fallen. I had been watching the weather for weeks hoping to go up just to take some snow photos.”
While the high country was blanketed with snow the coast has been copping some strong wind gusts.
And Josh wasn’t disappointed, taking some beautiful images that he agreed to share with us.
“Sleet started falling at 12.30pm and by 1pm it had turned into snow flurries that continued until 8pm at night.
“I'm always out chasing photos of weather and landscapes so this was just another opportunity to photograph something different that we don't see too often in this part of Australia.”
It may not be the end of the snow with the Bureau of Meteorology Monday forecast for the Mid North Coast predicting the possibility of snow above 900 metres in the west.
Gusty conditions will be confined to the coast during Tuesday as the front moves offshore, with the winds easing throughout Wednesday. West of the ranges will be settled and sunny until around Friday.
