James as usual was all over the park looking for the ball. Autolec Gloucester had a great game with lots of passing and good teamwork. Everyone had to work hard to keep the score even. All players tired towards the end of the second half but kept up the persistent hassling.
Accommodation Management v Gloucester BlueLight – Accom Management had their best game of the season as a team. They passed well, they tackled well, they talked to each other and the very best of their abilities shon today on the field. Baily & Owen were the ace goalies, Dylan scored 4 of our 5 goals, with Sam scoring our 5th.
Amy had a great game playing her best this season as did Jarod. All in all it was a terrific game to watch. Well done team
Gloucester Mufflers Division 2
Maslen's Hire finally had a win in a fantastic game against HSV 3-1. Excellent goalkeeping by Eleanor and Hamish made scoring difficult for White. Kobi showed some awesome skills in midfield, running continuously alongside Sam and Austin.
Kai scored two amazing goals and Ben showed one to remember. Cody, Mitch and Max kept peppering the goals, but Emma and Hayden were kept the busiest all game in defence. Congratulations to all on the field for making this the game of the week.
Autolec worked solidly in defence against Bluelight but once again, they were the stronger team winning 10-1. Dean scored the sole goal for Maroon, no mean feat through the fabulous defence of Jack and Isaac. Once again, Sam and Nicholas were dominant in attack for Green, making both Jack and Nicholas work super hard in goals.
The final game of the day saw another intense game between Barrington Trophies and Webbs with Yellow coming out on top 3-0. Red kept attempting goals but Yellow defence was too strong and kept them score-less. Beau and Zane scored for Yellow after the pressure on Red became too strong.

Drifta Camping 13yrs
Gloucester Drifts to a 4-1 win
As the whistle blew for kick off, Drifta Camping And 4WD 13s were straight to the ball, passing it through the team and avoiding contact with the Wingham Wanderers players, Xander got a touch to it and put it in the net to score a fantastic goal within 30 seconds!
Kayden and Aiden worked well together, passing the ball to the forwards giving Kelly and Josh opportunities to run at the keeper. Joseph and Hayden worked tirelessly defending any attempts made by the Wanderers.
William, finding himself in striking distance from the goals, didn't hesitate in taking a shot, while quick thinking from the midfielders, passing the ball up front through a gap in the oppositions defence saw Kayden take an awesome long range shot to find the back of the net. The Wanderers fought back hard, scoring a goal just before half time, bringing the score to 2-1.
The Drifta team grouped at half time, talking tactics to keep up the possessional play they demonstrated in the first half. Wingham attempted some through balls for their fast number 3 striker, with our defensive line up to the challenge, Jack made some strong slide tackles, and Tristyn discovered some great speed to match him.
Sam came forward in goals making a confident save and covering the ball like a professional. Isaac worked tirelessly in the midfield, covering any attack from the opposition. Working endlessly in the right wing, Josh took every chance to pass the ball across the field to the strikers, giving Zeke the opportunity to put the ball nicely into the net to score our third goal for the day.
Harrison replaced William in the right fullback position and marked his opponent like glue for the remainder of the game. Lane moved forward to the right wing position to replace Josh, and thrived in the physical battle down the right hand side, working the ball forward to get it across to the other side of the field for Aiden to have a strong shot at goals to bring the final score to 4-1.
Our next round is round 12, having the bye on the 16th July. Come down and enjoy some great bacon and egg rolls or a coffee from the canteen while watching a confident team battle their way towards the minor premiership at our next home against the Green Point Rovers on July 23rd at 10:00 am.
Thank you to the people taking down the nets at the end of games, it really does help. We are also looking for extra help in the canteen. If you are able to help out for an hour on a Saturday morning please let us know.
