An exhibition of patchwork quilts by the Gloucester Patchwork Group will be running until Sunday August 7.
A range of classical and traditional quilting techniques are on show alongside contemporary choices of colour and style.
Pure dedication is evident in the attention given to meticulous detail in creating these textile works of art. This exhibition follows two previously held in the gallery in 2010 and 2014.
Founded in 1996, the Gloucester Patchwork Group is an active community group of women who as well as creating individual work, collectively create community quilts for charities, hospitals or for victims of bushfires, floods and other disasters.
The group has held a number of quilt shows at the Barrington Hall as well as displaysngs at Gloucester Garden Rambles. If you enjoy sewing, creating patchwork quilts and helping in the community, new members are always welcome.
