Member, Bonnie Werz took a cooking course during her recently visit to Japan. She offered to pass on some of the sushi making skills learned to our brush wielding hands. The morning was spent drawing and painting Japanese still life artworks before extending our skills into our lunch.
There was a range of sushi that all tasted amazingly good accompanied with Bonnie’s Asian salads and accompaniments. Some art society members meet every Monday morning at the School of Arts upstairs room to paint in their favorite medium. The idea is that any member of the community is more than welcome to come along and have some fun.
