Club Taree has proved to be the ideal venue for Craftathon and the change of date was necessary to fit in with the club’s schedule.
“We are very happy with the change of date and feel that it will be popular with both our exhibitors and patrons,” one of the show’s co-ordinators, Gail Robinson of Taree Craft Centre said. “It will now be an ideal time for Christmas shopping, and with a smorgasbord of beautiful handmade gifts on display, shoppers will be spoilt for choice.”
Everything is in readiness for a bumper show, with all sites fully booked by quality exhibitors, many coming from far afield. As well as finished craft items, an excellent range of craft supplies will be available, including patchwork fabrics, beads, art supplies and paper craft supplies to name just a few.
Children’s craft workshops on both days will keep the kids happy, and the sewing package competition, including a beautiful sewing machine, will be drawn at the end of the show.
